A further donation to the Hare Preservation Trust has now been made following the sell out of my Hare sculpture, ‘Harriet’.
Thank you to all my customers who have bought my Harriet Hare sculpture over the years. With each sale I’ve donated an amount to The Hare Preservation Trust – HPT
Now that all 150 Harriets have found homes, I’ve just donated the final amount, bringing the total donated to £450 for this very good cause!
Below is a summary of The Hare Preservation Trust’s aims:
•Gain legal protection for hares during the breeding season.
•Raise awareness of threats to hares particularly illegal hunting
•Supports research into the reason for the hares decline
•Provides information for the public when they find injured or abandoned hares
I aim to sculpt a new hare this year, from which I’m very happy to donate to this cause close to my heart again.
