Kirsty has been involved in red squirrel conservation since 2007, when she helped found her local red squirrel group in northern Cumbria.
Her first red squirrel sculpture; ‘Charles’ was presented to His Majesty King Charles in 2011.
Since sculpting ‘Charles’, Kirsty has also produced limited editions of four other squirrel pieces; ‘Willow’, ‘George’, ‘Hope’ and ‘Rowan’. All these are now completely sold out, with the exception of ‘Rowan’.
Rowan’ is a mischievous juvenile in an autumnal setting, with the last few pieces still available. She has been produced in cold-cast copper as well as in a colourful hand painted version.
