RED SQUIRRELS

Kirsty has been involved in red squirrel conservation since 2007, when she helped found her local red squirrel group in northern Cumbria.

Her first red squirrel sculpture; ‘Charles’ was presented to His Majesty King Charles in 2011. Copper Squirrel Sculpture by Kirsty Armstrong presented to His Majesty King Charles

Since sculpting ‘Charles’, Kirsty has also produced limited editions of four other squirrel pieces; ‘Willow’, ‘George’, ‘Hope’ and ‘Rowan’. All these are now completely sold out, with the exception of ‘Rowan’.

Rowan’ is a mischievous juvenile in an autumnal setting, with the last few pieces still available. She has been produced in cold-cast copper as well as in a colourful hand painted version.
