I have temporarily switched off sales to the United States from my online shop. This is due to the US’s announcement of the suspension of de minimis treatment for imported goods from August 29th.
The cost to US customers for importing goods from the UK will certainly now increase. However, there is still no clarity or certainty on the ‘size’ of the impending duties.
Hopefully, as the situation becomes clearer over the next few weeks, I’ll be able to review my position.
