My sculpture of Max the miracle dog is now at the foundry and is in the process of being turned into bronze.
I can’t share a complete picture of Max yet, but here’s a photograph which I took in my studio last week of his ‘chops’.
The ‘chops’ were quite tricky and complicated to sculpt. I did this entirely by hand using traditional sculpting techniques, and got a crick in my neck for my trouble!
The sculpture will eventually be sited in Hope Park in Keswick. My name will be forever on his bottom…
