November update…

November update on what Kirsty Armstrong Sculpture is up to…

Max the miracle dog in Hope Park, Keswick

I’ve had a busy few months working on commissions, and that will continue until the end of December. Because of the deadline to finish Max the miracle dog my online shop on the British Craft House will remain closed to new orders and my Etsy shop currently only has one listing. They will be back open again in the new year!

Max is progressing, with the anatomy being refined at the moment on the full sized piece. The Sabretoothed tiger for REBOR was finished a little while ago with the mould and masters shipped to them to enable production to start.

Recently, I was also asked to quote for the bronze memorial of ‘a street cat named Bob’, but unfortunately time was rather tight with me working on Max and so I had to reluctantly decline the invitation.

My next update should be about the unveiling of Max in Hope Park in Keswick!! After I finish sculpting him in wax he’ll be away for a month being converted into bronze..,
