Hi. Here’s a little collection of some of the Animal and wildlife sculpture I’ve created over the past few years. Here they include;
- The Max the miracle dog Statue
- The original Smilodon (Sabretoothed tiger) for the collectibles company; REBOR
- my own limited edition wildlife pieces including Hares, Red Squirrels, and Wood Mouse Wall Sculptures
- Various Dog themed bas reliefs
- Charolais Bull for Border Fine Arts
I collaborate with other business as close to mine as possible (usually within 30 miles). I don’t mass produce in China, and every piece is made completely by hand from start to finish.
My pieces are all first sculpted in a wax clay (Plastiline) before being moulded and cast. The limited edition animals are cast in the Lake District (by Lakeland Mouldings near Ullswater), and the coloured editions are then painted for me in the Scottish Borders (by Glen Firra, in Langholm). The The Max The Miracle Dog bronze Statue was cast over in County Durham by the very talented Aron McCartney (at the Mc@rt Studiosstudios in Barnard Castle).
On my work bench at the moment I have the otter (yes, that’s still on the go!!😬), a new red squirrel piece, a fox cub, and I also have an idea for a leveret to accompany Harriet Hare! More soon!
